Terms of Service
The agreement between Artemis and the organizations that use it.
Who we are
Artemis is provided by Artemis Inc. (“Artemis”, “we”). These terms apply to the organization that creates an Artemis workspace (“you”) and to the people it invites. [Company address and registration details to be added.]
Preview service
Artemis is in preview. It is provided free of charge, as it is, while it is being developed. Features may change, and we may suspend the preview with notice. [Paid plans, fees and invoicing terms to be added before any charges begin.]
Accounts and access
- Each person needs their own account. Keep your password private and tell us at once if you think an account has been compromised.
- Owners and admins decide who joins the organization and what each role can see. Artemis enforces those roles on every request.
- You are responsible for the activity of the people you invite.
Your data
You keep all rights to the data you put into Artemis or connect to it (“Customer Data”). We use Customer Data only to provide and secure the service for you, never to advertise and never to sell.
An owner can download a complete export of the organization’s data at any time from Settings → Organization.
If an owner turns on external AI processing, the relevant Customer Data is sent to our AI provider to answer questions. It is off until an owner turns it on.
Connected systems
When you connect QuickBooks Online or HubSpot, you authorize Artemis to read the data listed on the Integrations page. Artemis only reads: it never creates, changes or deletes anything in those systems. Their own terms continue to apply to your use of them. You can disconnect at any time.
Figures, forecasts and AI
- Statements are computed from the entries in your books. Forecasts, simulations and scenarios are projections from stated assumptions, not predictions, and are labeled as such.
- Answers from Ask Artemis can be wrong. They cite their sources so you can check them. Nothing an agent proposes changes your data until a person with authority approves it.
- Artemis does not give legal, tax, accounting, investment or other professional advice. Decisions remain yours.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Artemis to break the law, to infringe others’ rights, or to store data you have no right to process.
- Do not probe, overload or attack the service, or try to reach another organization’s data.
- Do not resell the service without our written agreement.
Security
We protect Customer Data with the measures described on our security overview, including encryption in transit, per-organization isolation enforced by the database, encrypted connection tokens and an audit log. No system is perfectly secure; we will tell affected owners without undue delay if we learn of a breach of their data. Artemis holds no SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA or similar certification.
Ending the service
You may stop using Artemis at any time. Before you leave, download your export. [Data deletion timelines after termination to be added.] We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put the service or other customers at risk.
Liability
[Warranty disclaimer, limitation of liability, indemnities and caps to be drafted by counsel.]
Changes and contact
We will give notice before material changes take effect. [Governing law and venue to be added by counsel.] Questions: [contact email to be added].
